The Western Apicultural Society is a non-profit beekeeping organization founded in 1978 to educate and benefit beekeepers in Western North America. The organization was established to address the interests and educational needs of beekeepers from the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming as well as the western provinces of Canada.
